Roilwachhs: Progress Quest by coyotemax Roilwachhs: Progress Quest by coyotemax
One of my first created maps, still settling on a style. I followed a tutorial for the most part on this one, but had a lot of fun doing so.

This was created to be a semi-official map of the realms for the game Progress Quest (www.progressquest.com) and includes a fair amount of player content generated though the forums.

Fun for everyone!

it's on cartographersguild.com, look for "ascension's atlas style".

for that matter, any tutorial by ascension is a good one :)

Certainly, it's at [link]

It's worth reading through the posts too, there's a lot of clarifications and optional steps to follow and whatnot.

Good luck with it!

Yes, I found PQ fanart on devART! I only just downloaded it yesterday, and I've been far more enthralled by it than any RPGs I've played for a long while. And now I have this lovely supplemental material to behold! I love some of the locations on this: So many generic fantasy tropes like the "Hall of Seven" and the "Grand Library", blended with all sorts of interesting things like the Beer Golem Brewery, an Unnamed Bakery, and three southern temples of doom!

One last thing (a query, in fact): The legend indicates red circles as being player-generated content: Are they mostly forums? Or are there some game mods I'm unaware of?

PQ is the game of the gods. I've been playing for almost 10 years, and I'd have to say it's the only game that's kept my attention that long :)

I definitely recommend checking out the forums. Most of the "player generated content" refers to things from the Storyteller's Circle section. There's a lot of good material in there, we've been gifted with some truly awesome writers (though there's just as much stuff that's .. well.. better left unread, but it's worth looking through for the good stuff).

As to the game mods, try asking on the forum :P

(incidentally, the House of Seven is my personal location.. I go by Seven on the forum there, and I head the PQ Forge of which you'll notice mentioned on the map, heh)
